The Courtyard Kauai at Coconut Beach is located on 10.4 acres of fee simple oceanfront land at Coconut Beach in Kapaa, along the eastern coast of Kauai. The Hotel features 311 beautiful guestrooms, nearly 6,200 square feet of meeting space, a 272-seat restaurant and lounge, an outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, fitness room and tennis court. The Hotel was purchased in 2010 in a Joint Venture with Behringer Harvard, along with Davidson Hotels & Resorts as the operating partner. The hotel previously operated as the Aston Kauai Beach, and after the Joint Venture acquired the asset, it underwent a large scale renovation and rebranding to the Courtyard by Marriott flag. With the renovation complete, the hotel experienced a vast improvement in operating fundamentals. The asset was sold in 2017
